Applewood Smoked Turkey, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but often the hardest to find time to make. Making a nutritious breakfast and getting out of the house on time for work can be a struggle. If you aren’t a morning person, it can be even more of a challenge.

But with a little pre-planning and the use of fresh ingredients that can be picked up at Publix, you don’t have to worry.

I love a warm breakfast in the morning at all times of the year. One of my favorite go-to recipes for breakfast is the classic breakfast sandwich. I I love getting creative in the morning and trying out new breakfast sandwich combinations. I’m a big believer in maximizing the ingredients you already have at home for multiple day parts and eating as clean as possible.

I recently got the idea to use Oscar Mayer Natural Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast for breakfast. I typically use this line to prepare my Cobb salads for the week. I got the idea to put a spin on the classic ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich by using their Natural Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast instead because it is made with all the good of the deli without artificial preservatives or added nitrates or nitrites!

Oscar Mayer has a wide variety of  cold cuts flavors like the Roasted Turkey and new Buffalo Chicken available in the refrigerated section at your local Publix.

If you enjoy a good breakfast sandwich, you will be a big fan of these Turkey, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches. It’s easy and affordable to make. It only takes a few minutes to prepare and is perfect meal to take on the go!

Oscar Mayer Applewood Smoked Turkey, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

 1 bakery croissant

 2 eggs poached, scrambled, or fried

 2 tsp of butter

 2-3 slices of Oscar Mayer Applewood Smoked Turkey

 2 slices of Kraft cheddar cheese 

 2 tsp of Grey Poupon dijon mustard

2 oz of fresh spinach

¼ slice of avocado

Instructions

1.     Heat two medium to large size skillets.

2.     Slice croissant lengthwise

3.     Spread butter on the inside of croissants and toast croissant in skillet for 2 minutes until slightly brown on the inside.

4.     In a separate pan, melt butter and prepare eggs to your liking. Top with cheddar cheese slices.

5.     Once your eggs are done, start building your sandwich. In this order add the eggs,  Oscar Mayer Natural Applewood Smoked Turkey slices, spinach, sliced avocado and mustard.

6.     Enjoy!
