6 coffee shops you need to try in Atlanta

Are you one of those people who can’t start their day without a cup of coffee or some sort of caffeine? Hands raised because that’s me. I need something warm in my body to jumpstart my day. I’ve become one of those people. My go-to coffee shop even knows my order and name when I walk in because of how often I frequent their location near my office. Just call me a chai-tea connoisseur.

New coffee-shops are always popping up all over the Atlanta area. I’ve rounded up a list of a few favorites. Check out my picks below.

East Pole Coffee

I recently discovered this hidden gem during a recent photoshoot. East Pole Coffee is tucked away in an industrial office park in Armour Yards near Sweetwater Brewery. The coffee beans are roasted in-house guaranteeing you the freshest cup of coffee you can find.

Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee

A Land of a Thousand Hills has four coffee shop locations in the metro Atlanta area. One is located near my office so I frequent that location at least a couple time of weeks. I love to order their chai tea lattes with almond milk. The cinnamon flavored chai and homemade croissants are just what I need to jumpstart my day. Land of a Thousand Hills turns into a bar at night so if you are in need of something a little stronger after a long day at work you can head back to try one of their local beers on tap or have a nice glass of wine.

Brash Coffee Westside

This cute little coffee shop is located inside two large shipping containers. How creative! When you step inside, you’ll find an elegant coffee shop. The menu is fairly simple, they just serve coffees, lattes, hot teas, and baked goods. If you are looking for a fancy latte, you’ve picked the wrong place.

Revelator Coffee

Revelator Coffee is a regional coffee-chain located throughout the Southeast. The coffee chain started brewing out of Birmingham, Alabama and now has locations in Atlanta,Chattanooga, and Nashville. This has been my go-to place for meeting friends for an early morning coffee session. I typically order the avocado toast and the chai tea latte.

Moonbird Coffee

Moonbird Coffee sits right outside the perimeter in downtown Chamblee above Southbound restaurant. The coffee shop has an antique interior that makes you feel as if you are sipping a cup of joe right on the set of a wild west film. Their pastries are amazing! You must order the sweet potato bread!

The Read Shop

This little hidden gem is located in my neighborhood. It’s a bookstore and coffee shop. The shop sells the perfectly curated collection of coffee table books, cookbooks, biographies, and novels. When you stop by the Read Shop in Vinings you must order the lavender chai. It’s heaven in a cup.
