Gift Guide: For Women of Color by Women of Color

This weekend I attended The ESSENCE + New Voices Entrepreneur Summit & Target Holiday Market in Atlanta. I was invited to attend as a member of the media to cover the event and get to know the vendors showcasing products. The event started on Friday and concluded on Sunday evening. This is the first year Essence and Target has hosted an event like this where they featured black business owners all in one space. All three days were filled with engaging fireside chats from celebs and small business owners giving tips to aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition to the keynotes, attendees could shop in Target’s Holiday Market which featured pop-up shops by more than 50 black-owned businesses.  In 2020, Target and Essence plan to take this event on the road and expand into other cities. 

This event was the perfect opportunity to find gifts made by women of color for women of color. If haven’t finished your Christmas shopping, you are in luck because today I’m sharing a roundup of gifts to give the women in your life made by a woman of color.
