Gingham gameday style

Weekends in the fall mean one thing-football! And college football season officially kicks off today! When it comes to football allegiance, my loyalty has always gone to my two alma maters: The University of Alabama and West Virginia University. I also am a huge Florida State fan!

Each Saturday, I am usually at home or out around Atlanta watching the game with friends or family. Regardless of where I’m watching the game, I always think it’s important to be comfortable in what I’m wearing.

In the south figuring out what you are going to wear to watch the game is as equally as important as deciding on what dish to bring to the tailgate. Female fans are typically dressed in their Sunday best.

When I first saw this Gingham dress from Old Navy, I thought it would be perfect for football season as we are transitioning from summer to fall. Something about the Gingham print reminds me of football season. But this classic print works well for every occasion. The three-quarter length sleeves will still keep me warm as the evening temperatures start to drop. I can also easily pair this dress with black or gray leggings and a crimson sweater in October and November.
