The Fall Floral Dress You’ll Want to Wear All Year
It’s been months since I posted an update about my year without shopping. I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about how my year without shopping for new clothes is going.
I wanted to give you an update here and set the record straight before I went on with my blog post. The year without shopping has been a rewarding and challenging journey. These past 10 months have been a game-changer for me and allowed me to look at life through a different lens.
I wanted to be honest with you and let you know that I had a moment of weakness during the month of September, I slipped up and purchased four dresses from Target.
The above floral dress is one of them. I’m a big believer in being honest and transparent with my readers and followers so I wanted to let you know how the progress is going.
Where do I stand now with this journey? I’ve jumped right back on the train of not shopping. I have two months left in the year and plan to stay committed to my original goal but now I’m claiming it as a year with less. I’ll plan to do a final video update on my new YouTube channel in December. So make sure to subscribe.
Now let’s discuss this floral dress. With the fall season well underway this is a must-have dress. I was immediately drawn to the warm fall emerald tones in this dress. Green brings my hazel eyes out and is a color that can be worn during every season. Plus you can wear this dress on multiple occasions. Add a gold pump and a moto jacket to this dress and you are ready for a night on the town.
I spotted this dress on Instagram and saw it at my local Target during a shopping trip for household items. In the last few years, I’ve recently started loving florals. In previous years, you wouldn’t catch me wearing a dress with any type of pattern. A new leaf has turned and I’m obsessed with florals now.
Because I’m always cold I paired this dress with the J.Crew sweater blazer I got last year. The shoes were given to me as a gift from my mom.
