How to dress for a holiday party on a budget

December is here! Which means holiday party season is officially in full swing. If your calendar is like mine, you’ve got plans to attend at least one holiday party this month. I attended my first one last night and plan to attend two more this month. The one thing I love the most about the holiday party season is deciding on what to wear for each occasion. Dressing up is the best part! I typically opt for the traditional Christmas colors red, green, or gold but this year I’m switching it up and opting to wear new non-traditional colors. Like this berry color!

Lately, I’ve been loving wearing monochromatic colors and mixing up different textures. I think it’s a great way to dress up a somewhat casual look while still looking chic without breaking the bank. This outfit costs under $100. Each piece can be worn as a separate.

My advice to you is don’t go all out on a holiday wardrobe. Invest in a few key pieces that you can wear all winter.
