My Favorite Red Lip Colors under $30
Whenever I post a photo on social media of myself pictured with red lipstick on I get tons of compliments and questions about my favorite lip colors. I love wearing red lip colors because they are bold, classy, and timeless. It’s a color that never goes out of style, gives you an immediate boost of confidence and looks good on almost every skin tone. When it comes to lip colors I tend to mix and match between Matte and Glossy. These five lipsticks are a few of my favorite brands that are fairly inexpensive and under $40. With so many red shades to choose from it’s okay to test out a few brands to find one that looks well with your skin tone. I hope this post gives you a great starting run to selecting the perfect RED for you.
I discovered this liquid lip color by Stila several years ago when I received a sample in my Birchbox. I was immediately hooked on this color after the first application. It contains moisturizing vitamins, stays on all day, and doesn’t bleed onto your clothes or hands. Those are all winning perks in my book.
I love Bobbi Brown products because she designed them with every woman in mind. This Parisian Red lipstick color is a classic red that works well for any skin tone.
This lip pencil is perfect for lining your lips but also great for full coverage. A friend gifted this Velvet Matte Lip color by NARS to me for my birthday a few years ago. It’s an amazing red shade that definitely pops and has that bold effect you are looking for when wearing red.
If you are a fan of natural and clean makeup, then you will love this red lip color by RMS Beauty. I discovered RMS when visiting the Waiting on Martha Everyday store in Atlanta. The Firestarter color is a brighter orangey-red that is perfect for wearing during the summer months.
Maybelline is known for having great stand-out cosmetic products and this Super Stay Matte Ink lip color really sold me on their products. I purchased Heroine for a photo shoot last year and have been hooked on this color since then. This lip color is long-lasting, so much so that you’ll need lots of makeup remover and coconut oil to get it off your lips. There have been nights when I’ve slept in this product and the next morning I woke up with this lip color still on my lips untouched. For reference, this is the color I am pictured above.
