Nothing but Neutrals

When many people think of summer fashion, they immediately reach for bright colors to wear. Summertime is the perfect time of year to try to wear bright neutrals like white and beige. Personally I love wearing a good neutral during the summer months.

When shopping for new clothes, I often reach for classic investment pieces that can be mixed and matched throughout several seasons. I purchased this linen dress from Marshall’s for my trip to the Bahamas that was supposed to take place in February but was postponed due to the pandemic. Although I won’t be wearing it around the beach anytime soon, I know I’ll be wearing it all summer long. Linen fabrics tend to be airy and super lightweight, making it perfect for a hot day like today.
