Blink! It’s Sunday again! Last week flew by so fast. Even though I was busy with work and personal life priorities, I’m happy that I dedicated time to trying new experiences. I am so excited to tell you all about this and what I’m loving.
Loving...Salsa! If you read my blog post about my 2023 goals, you’ll remember reading I wanted to start taking dancing lessons. I have two left feet and my Caribbean ancestors did not pass rhythm down to me. Well last week on a whim, I signed up for salsa lessons. I started my first class on Tuesday. It was a new experience for me pushing me out of my comfort zone. I’m taking lessons to learn how to dance but also work on my confidence, ability to let go and work on my relationship skills. There are so many benefits to Salsa dancing and I can’t wait to see how much I grow from this experience.
Loving…The Original Chop Shop is a new health-focused restaurant franchise that recently made its way to Atlanta and I met a friend there for lunch on Saturday. It was delicious! I was happy to see so many gluten-free and plant-based options on the menu. They are opening another location near my house in May. Here’s what i ordered below.
Loving…Love Trip: Paris. I just started watching this series from Freeform on Hulu. It’s about Americans who go to Paris to find love. My aunt mentioned it to me when it first premiered but I’m just now getting around to watching it. I binge-watched the series last week.
Loving… Oasis at the High Museum of Art. On Friday my mom, aunt, and I went to the High Museum here in Atlanta for their first Oasis, a night of art, yoga, mocktails, meditation and mindfulness sponsored by Lululemon. After a stressful week, it was exactly how I needed to end my week. I recently joined the High Museum as a member and I was happy to find out Oasis will be returning monthly. The next Friday night of yoga at the High Museum is April 14th from 6-9 p.m. You have to register for Yoga in advance.
Loving…my new waffle maker I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $6.
Currently on my reading list… I have a huge stack of books from the library. I’m not sure if I’ll finish them all before I have to return them but can check them out again.

Currently listening to…I loved listening to this episode of the Second Life podcast with beauty influencer Amy Chang. I follow her on Tik Tok so it was cool to hear her story of adoption and how she pivoted from a career in public relations to being a full-time creator.
Currently listening to… l loved this podcast episode from Sadie Robertson Huff and her husband about marriage and relationships. I’m in a state of bettering myself to be a better partner in a relationship. The conversation about trust was very informative.
Currently listening to … another Sadie Robertson Huff podcast. I loved her interview with Christian rapper KB. I like his music so it was nice to get to know him through this interview.
Currently on my wish list to buy.. I’m on the hunt for the perfect sleeveless sweater. Here are a few I’m liking that are under $50. One, Two, Three

My favorite adulting hack of the week: I read this quick read “Time Management Ninja” over the weekend. Here are your four productivity weapons to keep with you at all times: Keep a to-do list, a calendar, keep a physical address book, and a notebook to jot things down. I used to be really good at doing all of these things but at some point in life I’ve gotten away from jotting things down in a physical notebook and keeping up with my calendar daily. I’m striving to get back to those days. The author also mentions not keeping multiple separate calendars, to-do lists, notebooks, and address books. She calls it the “power of one”! All of the tips she shared in the book were great reminders of things I know but need to adopt as regular habits.
